Better Housing Solutions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is working to create safe, affordable, appropriate housing and supportive services for adults with physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities beginning in Jefferson County, Arkansas.

Adults with disabilities deserve more than a place to live. They deserve a home where they can feel safe, supported, respected and part of their community.

2025 | WHERE IT BEGAN
Better Housing Solutions was founded with a vision to create safer, more appropriate housing services, and opportunities for adults with disabilities in Southeast Arkansas
NOW - 2026 | BUILDING THE FOUNDATION
Our focus is on planning, fundraising, community partnerships, outreach, and development as we build the foundation needed to bring BHS services to our community.
PHASE ONE - 2027 | SERVICES BEGIN
Our goal is to begin providing services in 2027. Early services may include transportation and other community-based supports as we work toward opening a BHS day facility by the end of 2027
PHASE TWO - 2028 & BEYOND | GROWING THE VISION
As Better Housing Solutions grows, our vision is to expand services to include a fully operating day facility, respite care, and a full-time facility for adults with disabilities.
Every step brings us closer to a community where adults with disabilities have greater access to the support, opportunities, and places they can call home.
